The iconic Trimley Water Tower has been part of the Felixstowe skyline for generations. With demolition planned, we’ve included it as an Honourable mention as part of the evolving Felixstowe 360 archive 

The Trimley Water Tower stands as one of the most visible landmarks in the wider Felixstowe area. Rising above the surrounding landscape, it offers a useful reference point for understanding the relationship between the coast, countryside and communities that make up this corner of Suffolk.

From elevated viewpoints around the tower, it is possible to appreciate the scale of the surrounding landscape, including Felixstowe, Trimley, the port and the nearby estuaries. The location helps reveal how closely connected the region’s coastal, industrial and rural environments truly are.

As Felixstowe360 expands beyond the immediate seafront, locations such as the Water Tower help provide context and orientation within the wider landscape. Additional photography, panoramas and local information will continue to be added as the project develops.
