the 360 project
the 360 project
The 360 Project is an ongoing initiative to create a connected digital map of Felixstowe using photography, video, drone imagery, 360 panoramas, local history and community stories.
Rather than focusing on a single attraction, the project aims to connect the places that make Felixstowe unique. Coastal landmarks, inland viewpoints, transport gateways, hidden history, beaches, gardens and offshore features all form part of a growing network of locations.
Each destination acts as a starting point for further discovery. Visitors can explore routes, viewpoints, stories, historic sites and practical information while building a deeper understanding of the town and its surroundings.
The long-term vision is to create a living archive of Felixstowe — documenting how the coast changes over time, preserving local stories and providing a richer way to explore the area than traditional maps or guidebooks alone.
Through photography, 360 experiences and local knowledge, The 360 Project aims to encourage exploration, support local businesses and celebrate the character of the Suffolk coast.
