SEAFRONT GARDENS
C10 | SEAFRONT GARDENS
Felixstowe’s Seafront Gardens are among the town’s most treasured public spaces. Originally created as part of the Victorian and Edwardian resort landscape, the gardens provide a series of terraces, pathways and viewpoints overlooking the sea.
The nearby Bath Tap area forms part of this historic landscape and helps connect visitors with the town’s rich seaside heritage. Careful restoration has preserved much of the original character while creating a welcoming environment for modern visitors.
The gardens are particularly popular with walkers, photographers and those looking for a quieter experience away from the busier parts of the seafront. Seasonal planting, mature trees and changing coastal light create a different atmosphere throughout the year. Additional panoramas, photography and local stories will continue to be added as Felixstowe360 develops.
