C9 | BENT HILL (GATEWAY TO TOWN)

Bent Hill forms one of the most important connections between the Felixstowe seafront and the town centre. For generations visitors arriving from the beach have used this route to reach the shops, cafés and businesses that make up the heart of the town.

From this elevated position it is possible to appreciate the relationship between coast and community. Looking one way reveals the sea and promenade, while the route inland leads directly towards the commercial centre of Felixstowe. This makes Bent Hill a natural transition point within the Felixstowe360 route network.

The surrounding area also provides attractive views across the coastline and serves as a reminder that Felixstowe is much more than a seaside destination.
