Felixstowe 360 was created by locals with a passion for the coast, its history, wildlife, businesses and changing landscape. The project grew from a desire to document and share the places, stories and atmosphere that make Felixstowe unique.

Felixstowe 360 is an evolving interactive project exploring the coast, history, atmosphere and hidden details of Felixstowe through immersive photography, aerial imagery, sound recordings and local storytelling.

The aim is simple: to help people experience Felixstowe rather than just read about it.

Using 360° photography, drone imagery, soundscapes and location-based stories, Felixstowe 360 connects viewpoints, landmarks, local businesses, coastal routes and lesser-known corners of the town into a single explorable map.

This is not an official tourism website and it is not intended to replace traditional visitor information. Instead, it is a creative and growing archive of places, moments and experiences from around the Felixstowe coast. As well as helping visitors discover the town, Felixstowe 360 aims to create a long-term digital archive of the coast — recording locations, views, sounds and stories that might otherwise be lost over time.

Many locations will continue to evolve over time, with new routes, stories, sound recordings, seasonal updates and interactive experiences added as the project develops.

The Map

The Felixstowe 360 map is designed as a creative exploration tool.

Route areas, locations and boundaries are approximate and are intended to help visitors discover places and experiences rather than provide precise navigation. The map is not to scale and should be viewed as an evolving guide to the project.

The tides move, ships arrive and depart, seasons transform the landscape and new stories emerge along the coast. This project aims to capture those changes over time and create a living record of Felixstowe as it continues to evolve.
